Miss You

We move to a new city every summer & since the move is only temporary, we don't have room to take to many friendly reminders from home with us. I was really missing, not just my house but all the things in it the other day. Then I got these "Home" blocks from Nestlings, in the the mail. I immediately stood them up on the mantel and they quickly turned our dull apartment into a lovely home. Not just because of the cool letters that actually spell out the word HOME but that of course is a good reminder as well:)

Hip to be square

Curves bore me. They are so, wishy washy. Plus in school of rock they always said it's hip to be a square, so that makes this flashy purse HIP! I can't stop staring at my Independent Reign purse. Yes, I stare at myself in the mirror. Maybe one day I can take it out on the town (not until my kids are grown up and moved out).

Clean fridge

I've always liked displaying photos and other memorabilia on my fridge but have you ever noticed how much cleaner you kitchen looks when your refrigerator is free from clutter? Don't worry I'll still hang up all my "love" notes and pictures, only I'll be posting them on my fabulous magnetic board from Urban Orchid! These custom boards are just what my kitchen needed to add to the decor. Now, if only I can keep my kitchen lookin this clutter free... at least till tomorrow:)

It's time

It's about time, you make the best of your time. I often watch the clock like a hawk to make sure I'm not going to be late for anything (I tend to have panic attacks if I am running late somewhere). But my eyes can get pretty darn bored watching the minute hand tick the minutes away.

If I had something appealing to look at, it might make those minutes fly by. Kinda like a party for my eyes. These clocks sure have that aesthetic appeal to make me want to RSVP to their party.

Talk about a blast from the past with a modern twist, these pieces of art are truly a one of a kind, they will have the neighbors green in the face with envy. When I have some more cash in my pocket, I'm sure to fill my house with Pilot Design pieces.

A vintage somethin'

"Uh no, course these aren't "new" honey." That's what I tell me husband whenever I wear something new from New Fashioned Whispers. I can get away with it because most of my favorite earring designs are created with a vintage touch.
